Batten Guipure Sheath Gown*

"Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart." - Khalil Gibran

The Batten gown is pure romance with a boho twist.  A semi-structured bodice gives soft shaping and lift, flowing seamlessly into a relaxed shape from the hips and a dramatic train. Crafted from exquisitely lightweight ivory guipure lace and blush silk, with trailing beaded embellishment at the neckline and throughout the gown, the Batten hangs suspended from delicate straps that end in tiny buttons down the back. Paired with a beaded halo and drop earrings, this gown is perfect for an elegant city wedding, or combine it with a long net veil and boho waves for a beachy outdoor vibe. Click on the gallery below to see details, or drop a line via the button below to try this gown on or purchase the sample!

Gelt Bodice +Altgeld Skirt *

"Oh, sunlight! The most precious gold to be found on Earth!" - Roman Payne

How does the phrase go? Something new, something old, something borrowed, something...gold? Well, maybe not, but our gold-lace separates will make you feel like rewriting tradition.  This versatile combo is equally at home in a flower-strewn loft space in Chicago, on a chic hotel rooftop in Amsterdam, or on top of a mountain in Iceland (yes, really!).  Click on the gallery below to get inspired and see some ways this look has been styled!

The Gelt bodice is fashioned from gold Chantilly lace milled in France, and its delicate floral pattern is shaped into a flattering sweetheart neckline. An ivory silk underlay and structured cups and corsetry combine to support and shape. Pair with the Altgeld skirt or any ivory skirt for an incredibly romantic and unexpected look.

The Altgeld ("old gold" in German) skirt is spun from layers of the softest English net and silk satin, with trailing vines of gold Chantilly and ivory Alencon lace at the hip. A satin waistband keeps things in place and adds a romantic touch. The Altgeld's dramatic train and soft silhouette are perfect for someone who wants to make an entrance and also dance the night away.

Gelt Bodice: $1,600 *sample available for purchase (size 4-6): $900 Altgeld skirt $2,700 *sample available for purchase (size 6): $1600

Freya Beaded Lace Gown

“As if you were on fire from within/The moon lives in the lining of your skin.”― Pablo Neruda

Norse mythology is a passion of mine, so you can imagine how excited I was to find a badass goddess who is known for travelling around Iceland in a chariot driven by cats?

The Freya gown is effortless perfection, a beaded-lace corseted bodice with thin straps and v back, with beaded lace flowers trailing down the hip over the softest a-line organza skirt with small train. We know it’s cheesy to say things like “wear this to channel your inner goddess”, but it’s hard to resist when you slip something this magical on.

This gown is perfect for a destination wedding, and we have taken it to Iceland twice to be photographed in its spiritual home, but it will be perfect no matter how you style it.

Freya Gown: $3,600 *sample available for purchase (size 4-6): $1800

Gris Skirt + Hayley Bodysuit

Something that rarely gets mentioned when people are starting the wedding gown process is that after awhile, wedding gowns can start to look the same. They are all beautiful, but how many white dresses can a girl see before her eyes start to cross?

Luckily we have the solution.

This look is timeless and romantic, a little edgy, a little sweet, and a lot unique. If you want to make an impression without saying a word, we have you covered, literally, in layers of smoky net and tulle in shades of grey and pewter, with a silk satin lining for comfort. A thin satin waistband anchors the skirt snugly and accentuates your best feature.

We recommend pairing it with our Haley top in sheer ivory Chantilly lace. The most delicate geometric floral lace is crafted into a v-neck fitted top with sheer lace back, romantic satin buttons, and 3/4-length sleeves. The top is unlined and can be worn with cups or a sticky bra, or with a nude bustier underneath. After the ceremony, pair it with cute high-waisted pants or a pencil skirt for a glam look to wear on your honeymoon or anytime you want to celebrate a joyous day.

This dress was one of Green Wedding Shoes’ Favorite gowns of 2017! See why here!

Etoile Embroidered Tulle

F8H4eIFe.jpeg

"I knew then, dearest dear, all that I had never known before, the interfusion of spirit & sense, the double nearness, the mingled communion of touch & thought.”-Edith Wharton

If you are the kind of girl who dreams of being a romantic heroine running through a field of flowers, burying your face in their blossoms and loving the way stray petals cling to your gauzy skirts, we might have the answer for you.

The Etoile gown is a 2-piece embroidered gown with a nude stretch lining and a lush, multi-layered English net overlay richly embroidered with floral and leaf designs. The sleeveless overlay features contrasting button-back detail, a fitted bodice and a-line skirt, and a walking train. Please note:  The gown is shipped with a full-length lining, rather than the short lining pictured.

Take a look to see why this gown was such a hit when we debuted it in Paris, and don’t forget to check it out in French wedding blog Un Beau Jour

Lyric Blush Tulle Skirt *

“I know not all that may be coming, but be it what it will, I'll go to it laughing.”― Herman Melville

There are some pieces that prove to be perennial favorites, pieces we keep adding to the collection with only minimal tweaks. It is rare that I feel like I got a design just right the first time, but the Lyric skirt (designed for an editorial shoot at the historic Lyric Opera) is perfect as-is: layers of blush and taupe net interwoven over an ivory silk chiffon base, finished with a dramatic train that seems to go on for miles. This amazingly versatile skirt (seriously, click the gallery below and you’ll see why we cannot stop photographing it) is perfect paired with our Flora bodysuit, Celia strapless bodice, or any lace topper. You could even channel Sharon Stone at the Oscars and wear it with our beaded Giovanna cashmere sweater (coming soon) for the ultimate louche luxe.

Amapola Chantilly Gown*

Let’s get right down to it - this is a dress for a goddess, or at the very least some kind of forest nymph. Originally designed for a quick trip to Iceland to shoot among the waterfalls of Gulfoss, this gown serves a heavy dose of romance and whimsy, but is never too sweet.

A sheer Chantilly lace corset-look bodice with long sleeves and deep button v-back narrows to a fitted waist and full skirt in layers of ice blue, ivory, and cream. Hundreds of hand-embroidered flowers scattering the skirt give the impression that acolytes have been throwing petals at your feet.

Read more about this trip to Iceland here on Magnolia Rouge or here on Munaluchi!

Please note: Though this gown is sized as a 6, the bodice is unlined and can fit up to a size 8. We recommend a strapless nude corset or bustier. Gown front can also be lined by a skilled alterationist.

Talita Gown*

DSC_3849.jpg

“Fair Titania, our nuptial hour draws apace”..

This is a perfect dress if you’ve ever dreamed of having a wedding that somehow channels A Midsummer Night’s Dream while also being inspired by old episodes of Poirot set in the 1930’s - a high-neck, fitted buff-colored net sheath strewn with delicately-embroidered flowers, pearls, and crystals, given a healthy dose of delicate buttons at the back zip, and topped off with a keyhole back and either delicate flutter sleeves or clean-lined sleeveless shaping to show off your arms. Looks spectacular no matter your size, with a soft layer of scuba in the skirt designed to help hold everything in. Each of these gowns is individually-crafted from embroidery and lace, and can be ordered with a mirrored design on the bodice, or a more organic lace design. The bodice is unlined and should be worn with a sticky bra or matching bra cups. Can be lined by a talented seamstress.

Lyric Sequin Gown

LyricPortraits_130.jpg

This is a design of truly infinite variety. Each of our Lyric sequin gowns is individually-designed to the bride’s specifications, including neckline shape, and can be made strapless, v-neck, or even with cap sleeves. Choose a soft blush pink or an ice white for your showstopper, and then add details like matching buttons to make the look your own. A fitted sheath shape is crafted from shaped sequins on stretch mesh into a gown that perfectly hugs your curves, while godets give the bottom and train dramatic flair.

This is not a gown for the shrinking violet, so be prepared for all eyes, including your sweetie's, to be firmly glued to you all night.

Looks perfect when paired with our Lyric skirt for the ceremony like our real brides Kathleen and Liadan, but is just as darling when left to dazzle on its own like our real bride Lauren. Feathers are optional, like in our shoot at the Lyric Opera, but are a pretty fabulous addition, right?

Click through the gallery below to see how stunning this gown can look with different modifications - we hope you’ll be inspired for your own wedding day!
